LG Residential & Light Commercial Installation (DFS-04) – Wichita

This class is directed toward partners who engage in field installation of LG DFS equipment. You will learn the manufacturer’s guidelines for installing the piping and wiring systems connected to the indoor and outdoor DFS air conditioning equipment.

This class will begin with a brief introduction to DFS equipment, followed by a lecture about product installation (emphasis is placed on piping and control wiring). We will cover charging and pre-commissioning tasks that must be completed before startup. Participants will also be introduced to LG SIM 2.0 and LGMV, which are the tools that must be used to evaluate DFS equipment performance.*

Prerequisites:

• Advanced technical knowledge of Residential A/C, Heat Pump, and Air Distribution systems.

Duration:

• 8 hours

Timing and logistics:

• Departure at 4:00 p.m.
• Please do not park in lots that belong to other businesses.

*The PLGMVW100 – Mobile LGMV Module tool will be available for purchase.
