Story:
Reno County, Kansas began the search for building partners for a new Correctional Facility. The new space needed to be durable, low maintenance and secure due to heavy traffic and high occupancy. Reno needed quality equipment and quick service solutions, so they partnered with BCS for their facility needs.

Correctional facilities operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The county needed quality, reliable equipment and a controls package to manage it all. The county needed reliable, energy efficient and easy to use equipment that their facilities team could adapt to. Additionally, a partner that could respond quickly to service and support requests if troubleshooting became necessary because having a system down is not an option.

Supporting Reno County with their service needs had been a top priority for BCS in years prior, so they knew we would be a good resource in building a new facility. BCS supplied a full building automation system, AAON Rooftop Units and DOAS and LG VRF technology. BCS also provided and continues to provide ongoing training to Reno County’s maintenance team so that the equipment is running and being used as efficiently as possible.
